The RESPC Clean Energy Opportunity Fund is a scholarship that provides financial assistance for students attending energy-related conferences, summits, and other educational events. Students are reimbursed for conference-related expenses (i.e cost of registration, travel, parking). This initiative aims to reduce financial barriers for students interested in events focused on the clean energy transition, career development, energy efficiency, and related topics.
Students who are interested may apply to the most recent application here. Scholarship recipients will be required to create content reflecting their experience and what they’ve learned in various creative forms, such as a blog post featured by the Institute for the Environment or Sustainable Carolina, an interview for RESPC’s social media, or other formats at the discretion of the RESPC Scholarships Subcommittee. This will enable recipients to share their experiences and democratize the insights they have gained.
