Process for Approving Additional EFRP Models:
EFRP’s priority is to make energy efficient ULTs affordable for all UNC laboratories. Therefore, potential freezers must be currently available to University labs in the desired quantity, be available on the NCDOA Purchase and Contract, and most importantly demonstrate the capacity to provide the greatest energy use reduction. Freezers that meet these guidelines will be vetted by RESPC in collaboration with UNC Energy Management.
