Description: The photovoltaic solar panel array on the bell tower parking lot converts sunlight into electricity which is used to power UNC facilities. The electricity created by these panels is not only theoretically free and unlimited, but it aids to shrink UNC’s carbon footprint and reach our goal of carbon neutral by 2050
