Description: Posters were designed by the RESPC to promote energy conservation in the laundry rooms of various dormitories across the UNC campus. These posters helped raise awareness about how energy can be saved by following a few easy steps. Students were encouraged to wash their clothing with cold water instead of warm water. This also prevents clothing from shrinking and any color from bleeding. Students were also encouraged to clean the lint screens before drying their cloths which could reduce the drying time of clothing by 30%. More energy can be saved by reducing the drying time.
